Style & Themes
Welcome to my page. I have been shooting photography both personally and professionally for over 10 years. My work includes portraits, commercial, property, products ,make up and more. I prefer to shoot portrait work,influenced heavily by the film makers and artists I love, and pushing thematic and technical boundaries. I am a fan of the film noir genre and its modern take neo-noir. Adapting these film aesthetics to my photography. The term film noir, French for 'black film' (literal) or 'dark film',involves the use of interplay of dutch angles, low-key lighting and unbalanced framing. I tend to apply to these to erotic photography, featuring women.
Influences
My visual style is influenced by those I loved and admired growing up. In the photography world I have always loved Helmut Newton and Eric Kroll. Most of my visual influences come from film makers, including David Fincher, Christopher Nolan and their cinematographers. I prefer using monochromatic and de saturated colors of blue, green and yellow.
Services
I am available for a variety of professional services, and am capable of shooting and editing in various styles, from products, corporate portraits and weddings.
Location
I am currently working in and around the Pittsburgh Pennsylvania area but am available for travel.
